PDO Threadlift

Thread lift, often referred to as a non-surgical facelift, uses a dissolvable suture to tighten and lift your skin. This minimally invasive procedure is crafted to lift and firm sagging skin on the face and neck, resulting in a visibly uplifted appearance. It’s a less invasive procedure than facelift surgery and can often be performed without needing to go under a scalpel.

What We Areas Can Benefit From it?

There are two main types of PDO threads: barbed PDO threads and non-barbed PDO threads.

  • Barbed PDO threads are strong threads with strong lifting capacity. They anchor the skin and lift it up.

if you wish to see a more long-lasting and visible effect, we also offer PLLA and PCL threads that stimulates more collagen than PDO threads. PCL threads is exceptionally good for providing support that can be used for eyebrows-lifting and volumising.

  • Non-barbed PDO threads are fine threads with a small lifting capacity. There are used for skin tightening and rejuvenation, where skin lifting is not needed.

FAQs

  • Clients are most likely to enjoy satisfactory results after just one treatment. Come in six to nine months after your first treatment so we can determine if you need a follow-up treatment. After that, you shouldn’t need another treatment for three years.

  • How long the PDO threads last depends on a number of factors, including the thickness of the threads, the quality of the threads and your body’s rate of metabolism. However, most of our clients find that the threads have dissolved within six to nine months.

  • A great benefit of a PDO thread lift is that the side effects are minimal. You may notice a little swelling and bruising that lasts for a few days, after which time it should fade. There is no downtime and you can get back to your usual routine right away.

  • Post-treatment care for PDO thread lift is relatively simple. Avoid dental procedures for two weeks to prevent any impact on treatment results due to prolonged mouth opening. Additionally, sleeping on your back for the initial weeks prevents uneven pressure on your face.
